A career in theatre.
Darren has built a reputation for producing solo concerts, musicals in concert, and major theatrical events. His work as a published photographer brought him into the heart of the theatre world and, in 2015, he expanded his creative work into producing.
Specialising in Broadway and West End talent, Darren has produced shows featuring Patti LuPone at the London Coliseum, Audra McDonald at the London Palladium, Chita Rivera, Jeremy Jordan, Megan Hilty, Tituss Burgess, Shoshana Bean, Hannah Waddingham, Cynthia Erivo, Alan Cumming, Ariana DeBose, Michael Ball, Kelli O'Hara, Alex Newell, Sharon D. Clarke, Laura Benanti, Matthew Morrison, and Jamie Muscato.
His production credits include the critically acclaimed Bonnie & Clyde, starring Jeremy Jordan and filmed live for cinema release. The WhatsOnStage Award winning Something Rotten! in Concert starred Jason Manford, Evita in Concert featured Auli'i Cravalho, Oklahoma! in Concert starred Phil Dunster, and the award winning production of Love Never Dies in Concert starred Norm Lewis.
Darren also produced Ariana DeBose's solo show and 6 UK appearances by Jeremy Jordan across 9 years. Both were recognised with WhatsOnStage Award nominations.
In 2018, Darren presented Tori Amos's musical The Light Princess, returning Olivier Award nominee Rosalie Craig to the title role. In 2019 and 2020, he produced Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella and Zorro The Musical with leading musical theatre casts, both playing to sold out audiences.
Darren was also a producer of Bonnie & Clyde at the Garrick Theatre and Arts Theatre, Burlesque The Musical, and Midnight Cowboy.

When the West End reopened after the pandemic, Bonnie & Clyde in Concert was the first event at the newly refurbished Theatre Royal Drury Lane. Darren also produced Audra McDonald's cinematic concert capture at the London Palladium for PBS, brought Chita Rivera to London for her final UK performance, staged the award-winning UK premiere of Something Rotten! in Concert, and is producing the return of Love Never Dies in Concert at the London Palladium in October 2026.
