Gentlemen Prefer Blondes comes to The London Palladium in a new concert staging starring Megan Hilty as Lorelei Lee and Rachel Tucker as Dorothy Shaw, directed and choreographed by Tony Award-winner Warren Carlyle.
Set aboard an ocean liner bound for Paris, the musical follows Lorelei and Dorothy through a sharp, glamorous comedy featuring “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend”, “A Little Girl from Little Rock”, and “Bye Bye Baby”. This concert production brings the score to The London Palladium with a 30-piece orchestra, a full company, and large-scale dance.
The original musical opened on Broadway in 1949 with Carol Channing as Lorelei. It was later adapted into the celebrated 1953 film starring Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell.

Megan Hilty is most recognisable for her portrayal of seasoned triple-threat Ivy Lynn in NBC’s musical drama Smash, and recently finished starring as Madeline Ashton in the Broadway smash-hit musical Death Becomes Her, for which she received a Tony Award nomination, a Drama League Award nomination, and 2 Broadway.com Audience Awards.
In addition to Smash, Megan’s television credits include playing Lily in NBC’s Annie Live!, Bravo’s Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce, Hulu’s Difficult People, CBS’s The Good Wife, The Good Fight, BrainDead, and Desperate Housewives. Hilty also starred in the NBC series Sean Saves the World, as well as The Pradeeps of Pittsburgh for Amazon.
Megan also earned a Critics’ Choice Award nomination for Best Actress in a Limited Series for her portrayal of Patsy Cline in Patsy & Loretta. Her voice is featured on numerous animated series, including KC the Koala in Disney Junior’s T.O.T.S., Holly Darlin’ in TrollsTopia, Wammawink in Netflix’s Centaurworld, and Rosetta in many of Disney’s Tinker Bell films. Other animation credits include It’s Pony, Sofia the First, Madagascar: A Little Wild, Doc McStuffins, Phineas and Ferb, Family Guy, American Dad!, and the singing voice of Snow White in Shrek the Third.
A native of Seattle, Hilty moved to New York City after graduating from Carnegie Mellon University and quickly made her Broadway debut as Glinda in Wicked. She went on to perform the role on both the national tour and in Los Angeles.
After 4-and-a-half years with Wicked, Megan went on to originate the role of Doralee Rhodes in Broadway’s 9 to 5: The Musical. Hilty was honoured with nominations for Lead Actress in a Musical at the Drama Desk Awards, Outer Critics Circle Awards, Drama League Awards, and LA Stage Alliance Ovation Awards.
Hilty also received critical acclaim for her role as Brooke Ashton in Roundabout Theatre Company’s revival of Noises Off. She earned nominations for a Tony Award, Drama Desk Award, and Drama League Award, and won a Broadway.com Audience Award for Favourite Featured Actress in a Play.
Hilty released a live album comprising songs from her concert tour, Megan Hilty Live at the Café Carlyle, which was recorded during one of her residencies at New York’s Café Carlyle. She also filmed her solo concert for the PBS Live from Lincoln Center series. Hilty continues to perform with world-renowned orchestras such as the New York Pops, the National Symphony Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic, the Boston Pops, the Cincinnati Pops, and the Houston Symphony, among many others. Megan is a frequent guest on PBS’s televised Live from Capitol Hill concerts, and was the guest artist in the Christmas Concert with the Tabernacle Choir, which aired on PBS in 2022. Her solo concerts, which combine music from her varied television and theatrical career, continue to sell out and receive critical acclaim wherever she goes.
Rachel can currently be seen in the leading role of Louise in Thelma & Louise for the Young Vic, based on the iconic film of the same name.
She previously featured as the Baker’s Wife in the Olivier Award-winning production of Into the Woods at the Bridge Theatre, played the iconic Myrtle Wilson in The Great Gatsby at the London Coliseum, and starred opposite Ralph Fiennes in Small Hotel at Theatre Royal Bath.
Making her screen debut opposite Paddy Considine in Informer for the BBC and Netflix, Rachel now plays the series regular role of Siobhan O’Hare in the BBC’s Hope Street, which has become one of BBC iPlayer and BritBox’s most popular shows internationally.
She also joined the latest series of Call the Midwife for the BBC and the gritty feature Frayed.
A true leading lady, with an extensive list of credits to her name, Rachel recently played Norma Desmond with Nicole Scherzinger in Jamie Lloyd’s critically acclaimed West End adaptation of Sunset Boulevard, and followed this with the lead in the world premiere of Wild About You at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, opposite Eric McCormack.
She is best known for being the longest-running Elphaba in the multi-award-winning Wicked, both in the West End and on Broadway, with over 1,000 performances, winning a multitude of awards and an international fanbase for her portrayal of the iconic green witch.
She made her Broadway debut in Sting’s musical The Last Ship, opposite Michael Esper and Jimmy Nail, and originated the role of Beverley Bass in Come From Away in London’s West End, a role she subsequently played on Broadway.
Warren Carlyle is a Tony Award-winning director and choreographer. Most recently on Broadway, he choreographed Pirates! The Penzance Musical at the Todd Haimes Theater and the revival of The Music Man at the Winter Garden Theater.
Warren received the Tony Award for Best Choreography for After Midnight, as well as 3 Outer Critics Circle Awards, 2 Drama Desk Awards, and the Astaire Award for choreography. He has received a further 3 Tony Award nominations, 9 Drama Desk Award nominations, a Lucille Lortel Award nomination, and an Emmy Award nomination for choreography.
On Broadway, he directed and choreographed Harmony, at the Ethel Barrymore Theater, After Midnight at the Brooks Atkinson Theater, Chaplin at the Barrymore Theater, Hugh Jackman: Back on Broadway at the Broadhurst Theater, Finian’s Rainbow at the St. James Theatre, and A Tale of Two Cities at the Al Hirschfeld Theater. Pearson Casting is a multi-award-winning, international casting house based in London and New York, founded and run by husband and wife team James and Rosie Pearson. They work across theatre, film, television, commercials, and live performance.
James and Rosie began their careers as actors before opening Pearson Casting in 2014. James graduated from the very first year of LSMT, and Rosie graduated from the University of Birmingham with a BA in English and Drama. They are supported in the London office by Senior Casting Assistant Katie Cochrane, a Mountview alumna who has worked with Pearson since 2024.
James and Rosie are both members of the CDG, the Casting Directors Guild, the CDA, the Casting Directors Association, and the CSA, the Casting Society of America. In 2022, they won Best Casting in Regional Theatre at the CDG Awards for their work on RENT, and, in 2025, won Best Casting of a Live Performance at the CDA Awards for their casting of Starlight Express. Darren Bell is a 3-time WhatsOnStage Award winner and 6-time nominee. He has built a reputation for producing solo concerts and musicals in concert. Cuffe & Taylor’s roster of artists is extensive and varied, including Justin Timberlake, Noah Kahan, Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, Lionel Richie, Britney Spears, Rod Stewart, Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey, Lewis Capaldi, Tom Jones, Bryan Adams, Kylie, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Stereophonics, The Strokes, Kaiser Chiefs, Primal Scream, Sam Fender, Courteeners, and Paul Weller.
In 2017, Cuffe & Taylor became part of the Live Nation family, and the following year they expanded with the addition of a theatre touring division founded by Ben Hatton. Joined by Sam Griffiths and rebranding as Arts & Entertainment, they have since filled theatres and arenas across the UK and internationally, programming thousands of nights of entertainment ranging from live podcasts and screen-to-stage television adaptations to musical theatre.
From Bluey’s Big Play, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, The Cher Show, A Question of Sport Live, and James Martin Live, to the popular tribute shows Whitney: Queen of the Night and Tina: What’s Love Got to Do with It, as well as tours with West End and Broadway royalty Sarah Brightman, Jane McDonald, and Lea Salonga, the Arts & Entertainment division continues to grow.
The division is now multi-Olivier nominated, and, in 2023, Cuffe & Taylor won the Olivier Award for Best Family Show for their original production of Hey Duggee: The Live Theatre Show. Ben Hatton and Sam Griffiths also produce the hit sold-out immersive experience The Traitors Live Experience in London’s Covent Garden.
